I selected the keywords sport social media marketing, sport marketing, digital marketing in sport, fan engagement, TikTok sport marketing, and sport business because they are commonly searched terms related to the topic of my blog. Using tools such as Google Keyword Planner and Google Trends showed that these keywords have consistent search interest and are relevant to current discussions around sport marketing and social media. Including these keywords throughout the blog helps improve search engine optimisation (SEO) and increases the chances of the content being discovered by users searching for sport marketing topics online.

Google Trends Keyword Popularity 

Google Trends was used to analyse the popularity of the keyword “sport marketing” in the United Kingdom over the past month. The graph shows how often this term is searched on Google over time. The data highlights several peaks in search interest, suggesting that sport marketing is a topic that regularly gains attention online. This supports the decision to include the keyword sport marketing within the blog to improve search visibility and relevance.

SEO Keyword Relevance 

The Google Trends data also helps identify whether a keyword is currently relevant and being searched by users. By analysing search interest over time, it shows that sport marketing remains an active topic within online searches. Including this keyword throughout the blog content helps improve search engine optimisation (SEO), increasing the likelihood that users interested in sport business topics will discover the blog through search engines.
